Ari’s practice focuses on litigating complex civil cases. Examples of recent matters include:
- Representing corporate debtors and post-bankruptcy litigation trusts in securing insurance coverage for asbestos-related and other liabilities
- Representing a consumer class against Comcast in an action arising out of Comcast’s alleged misleading advertising regarding the use of peer-to-peer file sharing with its high-speed Internet service
Ari also has represented individuals and organizations on a pro bono basis with other Gilbert Oshinsky attorneys. In this capacity, Ari has assisted in drafting an amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court supporting the constitutionality of a high school enrollment plan aimed at addressing racial discrimination, and has helped secure a recovery for alleged police brutality.
